Monologue ‘It Aint Me Babe’ by Olof Berg
A beautifully written piece by local writer, Olof Berg, ‘It Ain’t Me Babe’ is a soulful monologue that brings to light the human condition.
A man sits at the bar in a pub. Is it late at night or early in the morning? We don’t know. Is he talking to himself or to someone else? We don’t know that either. But he has something to say, and he doesn’t care if nobody listens. He’s going to get it off his chest whether you want to hear it or not.
‘It Ain’t Me Babe’ is the first in our series of monologues that mark the beginnings of the Louth Filmmakers Society’s first slate of projects. This particular piece was chosen for its style and structure, but more so for its ability to draw in the audience.
